Emmy Fecteau, captain of the Concordia Stingers, the national women's university field hockey champions, is a true rising star in women's field hockey.

A native of the Beauce region, like her idol Marie-Philip Poulin, Emmy is a top prospect in the upcoming CFHL draft. Emmy, who won two championships with Concordia University, has had her share of victories, but also pitfalls. Proof that the road to success isn't always easy.

Today, she has an impressive list of awards and distinctions for her performances on the ice, in her studies and in the community. In 2023, Hockey Canada recognized her talent with the Isobel-Gathorne-Hardy Player of the Year Award.
