A 2012 graduate of the National Theatre School of Canada, Jean-Philippe Perras embarked on an active and diversified career immediately after graduation. It was only five years after graduating that his performance in the drama series L'Heure bleue earned him the Prix Gémeaux for Best Performance by an Actor in a Supporting Role.
He made his acting debut in 30 Vies, playing Élise Guilbault's son. Immediately appreciated by audiences and industry alike, he went on to play a string of outstanding roles in the series Toi et moi, Feux, Trop, La Faille, Nuit Blanche and Mégantic, as well as on the big screen in the films Yankee in 2016 and Nous sommes Gold in 2018. More recently, he has appeared in the series Alertes, District 31 and L'Empereur.
His theatrical career is no exception, with over fifteen productions to his credit. Alongside his acting career, Jean-Philippe Perras is also a singer and musician with the group Gustafson.
