I'm proud to take part in this event organized by the Charles-Bruneau Foundation to raise funds for a very important cause. my family and I have experienced a difficult experience in recent weeks that has led us to want to contribute and push research even further. Sadly, my eldest daughter's best friend, Chloé Paquette, became a star after more than two years of battling the disease on August 7th. Even though the prognosis has greatly increased over the past 25 years, we are still losing many children, and each child is one too many. Accompanying Chloé's parents (who have become our friends) every week through this ordeal, which no parent should have to go through, has made us realize even more how lucky we are to have a healthy family and children.
Chloé and her family will be my motivation in this fundraiser and throughout the event.
