The third edition of the Charles-Bruneau Cup, to be held on September 30, can once again count on Scotiabank as a collaborating partner. The Charles-Bruneau Foundation is pleased to be able to count on this precious partner once again this year. All donations collected during the ball field hockey tournament will contribute to the Foundation's mission: to give all children with cancer the best possible chance of recovery by funding pediatric hemato-oncology research.

A partner driven by the cause

The partnership between the Charles-Bruneau Foundation and Scotiabank was a natural one. The Bank has always been committed to community and charitable initiatives, particularly in the field of hockey, through its involvement with the Scotiabank Hockey Club, whose mission is to promote diversity, inclusiveness and accessibility in the hockey world.

This year, two Scotiabank teams will be taking to the field. Team Scotiabank - Reb Team and Team Scotiabank - Réseau succursale. This double participation underlines Scotiabank's deep commitment to the cause of childhood without cancer, and its desire to actively contribute to the success of the event.

A sporting and festive event

The ball field hockey tournament is one of the Charles-Bruneau Foundation's key events, with some 50 teams participating in two categories: recreational and co-ed. The event also attracts numerous celebrities and star players, on hand to meet and cheer on the players. In addition to the All-Star Game, the teams with the highest fundraising totals will have the opportunity to welcome a star player to their team for a memorable game.
